My name is Dr. Lora Sierra. Growing up in Lee County, Florida, I felt a natural calling to the healing arts from a very early age. I have always been driven by a desire to help others find comfort, whether through compassionate listening or therapeutic touch. This path led me to become a licensed massage therapist in 2010, marking the beginning of my professional commitment to holistic care.

Throughout my years in practice, I realized that true health requires looking beyond a simple diagnosis. I saw many patients feeling overlooked by conventional systems, and I felt a deep need to provide a more integrative approach—one that honors the individual as a whole. This led me to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Alternative Medicine, where I studied diverse global healing traditions. It was during this time that Traditional Chinese Medicine resonated with me most profoundly, offering the balance and depth I was seeking.

In 2020, amidst global uncertainty, I pursued my Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. Studying this ancient wisdom during a worldwide health crisis provided me with unique insights into the body’s resilience and the enduring relevance of Chinese medical philosophies in our modern world. This experience solidified my belief that I was exactly where I needed to be to serve my community.

Today, at Awesome Qi, my mission is to help you reconnect with your body and find lasting harmony. I believe that healing is a comprehensive process involving the mind, body, and spirit. By addressing the root causes of imbalance rather than just isolated symptoms, we create the space necessary for genuine wellness to flourish.
